I’m Abram Harris, founder and owner of Don Abram Harris Cigars, and the first African American to produce premium hand-rolled cigars in the U.S. My journey began in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, as the youngest of seven children. Inspired by my father, who worked as a farm hand in the tobacco industry, I embraced the craft and pursued my entrepreneurial dreams. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, I’ve built businesses from the ground up, including a trucking company and a vitamin line.

In 2007, I transformed this legacy into a reality, crafting cigars that embody quality and tradition. Each cigar reflects the tenacity and faith that have guided me, and I’m proud to share them with the world.
