Kurtis brings a unique combination of industry expertise, retail experience, and passion for premium cigars that makes him an outstanding addition to our growing team. A Certified Cigar Sommelier Tobacconist and Certified Salesforce Tobacconist, he combines nearly three decades of cigar-smoking experience with years of professional involvement in the premium cigar industry.

As a Colorado native, Kurtis has spent much of his career building relationships, creating memorable customer experiences, and helping consumers discover products that truly resonate with their interests and lifestyles. His background includes more than 20 years in retail and over 15 years in marketing and social media marketing, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the customer experience and the importance of building strong, authentic brands.

What truly sets Kurtis apart is his passion for cigar culture and education. He is known for helping enthusiasts explore the sensory side of premium cigars through thoughtfully curated pairings that incorporate food, spirits, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages. His ability to connect people with new experiences and deepen their appreciation for the premium cigar lifestyle has earned him respect among seasoned aficionados and newcomers alike.

As Market Development Manager for the Rockies Frontier Territory, Kurtis will work closely with cigar retailers, lounge owners, and industry partners to expand the presence of Don Abram Harris Cigars throughout the region. His focus will be on building strong relationships, supporting retail partners, creating brand awareness, and helping introduce more cigar enthusiasts to the craftsmanship and character that define the Don Abram Harris Cigars portfolio.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kurtis is an avid traveler who enjoys attending concerts, following hockey, spending time with family and his dogs, riding motorcycles, exploring the outdoors, fishing, and practicing hot yoga. His enthusiasm for life, commitment to community, and genuine love for the cigar lifestyle make him a natural ambassador for our brand.
